Cash POP is a draw-style game the Hoosier Lottery brought to Indiana in 2023, the first of its kind since 2016. This meant it needed a fresh new logo to include on ticket art and advertising. With the aim to appeal to a younger crowd (20~35) and bring in new players, Hoosier Lottery asked for a vibrant, colorful, attention grabbing logo that stood out among their already existing portfolio of draw game logos.
To accomplish this, the full-color logo uses a combination of gradients and shading to create a dynamic sense of depth that's full of movement. The bright blues, pinks, and purples allow the logo to feel fun and fresh while grabbing the attention of the intended demographic.
Using Adobe's 'Como' as the typeface, the gradients and shading were layered on to the word "POP" to give it emphasis and really make it...You guessed it...POP!
